The AdWing interface
Updated on 2026-08-26
Applies to: AdWing overview
A tour of AdWing's sidebar and where each area takes you.
Before you start
- Your Meta account should be connected (see Connect your Meta account)
The sidebar, in order
- Dashboard — KPI overview (Active, Paused, Spend (30d), Impressions, CTR, Clicks), creative fatigue alerts, and recent activity.
- Campaigns — your campaigns list and the starting point for creating a campaign. Click into a campaign to reach its ad sets, and into an ad set to reach its ads.
- Optimization — the Decision Queue: proposals the optimisation engine raises against your rules each night, plus Rules and Value signals sub-pages. This item is hidden entirely unless optimisation is enabled for your account.
- Drafts — campaigns you started but haven't finished pushing. Each draft shows a state badge: Draft, Saved or Partially pushed. A draft is a campaign that doesn't exist on Meta yet; a Pending Push badge is an item that does exist and has unsent edits.
- Creatives — your creative library: upload and browse images and videos, and open a creative's scorecard.
- Action Log — every push, sync and edit event, with entity type, action, outcome and timestamp.
- Reports — a placeholder. Reporting is planned for a later phase; the page currently shows "Reports coming in Phase 3".
- Settings — your account details, password change, Meta connection, and connected ad accounts.
Result: you know which part of the sidebar to use for each task.
If it doesn't work
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Optimization isn't in the sidebar | It's feature-gated and hidden when not enabled for your account | Ask your AdWing administrator whether optimisation is enabled |
| Reports opens an empty page | Expected — the feature isn't built yet | Use the Dashboard for live metrics |
| A page shows no data at all | Your account may not be connected or synced | Check Settings, then click Sync from Meta |
