How to duplicate a campaign
Updated on 2026-08-26
Applies to: AdWing campaigns
Duplicate an existing campaign to reuse its structure without rebuilding it.
Before you start
- None
Steps
- Go to Campaigns.
- Tick the checkbox on the campaign you want to copy. There is no Duplicate option in a row's own menu — the row menu contains View details only.
- In the bulk toolbar that appears, click Duplicate.
- A toast confirms "Duplicated 1 campaign". The copy appears in your list with a Pending Push badge — it exists in AdWing but not yet on Meta.
- Rename the copy so you can tell it apart — for example, add a
test_prefix. - Click the push (➤) button on the row to publish the campaign tree to Meta.
Result: a toast confirms "✅ Campaign tree pushed to Meta" and the Pending Push badge clears. If any ad sets failed, the toast names how many.
Some items may need individual pushes
Pushing a campaign tree covers the campaign, its ad sets, and pending ads underneath. If a Pending Push badge remains on an ad afterwards, open that ad and push it on its own.
If it doesn't work
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No Duplicate button anywhere | You haven't ticked a row — it's a bulk action | Tick the campaign's checkbox first |
| Toast says "Campaign pushed, but N ad set(s) failed" | The campaign landed but some ad sets didn't | Check the Action Log for the reason, then push the failed ad sets individually |
| An ad still shows Pending Push | Not every ad is covered by the tree push | Open the ad and push it directly |
Live-ads warning ⚠️ Pushing publishes to Meta immediately. Changes affect live ads and can spend real budget. Test with items named
test_unless you intend to change live ads.
