How to connect your Meta account

Applies to: AdWing settings

Connect your Meta ad account to AdWing so you can view and manage your campaigns.

Before you start

• A Meta user access token with the ads_read and ads_management permissions, generated from the Graph API Explorer.

Steps

1. Go to app.adwing.co and log in.
2. In the sidebar, click Settings.
3. Find the Meta (Facebook) Connection card.
4. Paste your token into the Paste your Meta User Access Token field.
5. Click Connect Meta.
6. On success you'll see "Meta connected! Ad accounts synced." and your accounts appear under Connected Ad Accounts.
7. Click Sync from Meta from the Dashboard or Campaigns page to pull in your campaigns.

Result: your Meta campaigns, ad sets and ads appear in AdWing.

Note: connecting is a token paste, not a Facebook pop-up login. AdWing does not currently run an OAuth authorisation flow, so there is no Meta consent window to approve.

If it doesn't work

What you see	What it means	What to do

Connected Ad Accounts says "No accounts connected yet"	The token connected but no ad accounts resolved against it	Confirm the token's Meta user has access to the ad account you expect
Sync takes longer than a minute	Normal for larger accounts with many ads	Wait for the success toast rather than refreshing the page
The first action after a period of inactivity feels slow	The first request after several minutes idle can take 5–10 seconds while the service wakes up	Wait a moment and try again — it only happens once

There is currently no "disconnect" button. To change the connection, paste a different token.
