How to upload images and videos
Updated on 2026-08-26
Applies to: AdWing Creative library
Add images and videos to your creative library so you can use them in campaigns and ads.
Before you start
- A file in an accepted format: images (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF) or video (MP4, MOV).
Steps
- Open Creatives in the sidebar.
- Click Upload Creative.
- Select a file from your device.
- A video moves through Preparing upload…, Uploading X%, then Processing… while its thumbnail is generated.
- An image completes in one step, with no processing stage.
Result: the new creative appears in your library grid, ready to attach to a campaign or ad.
Size and format limits
| Limit | |
|---|---|
| Images (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF) | 30 MB |
| Video (MP4, MOV) | 100 MB |
Anything else is rejected with "Unsupported file type. Please upload an image, MP4, or MOV."
If it doesn't work
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Unsupported file type…" | The format isn't accepted | Convert to JPG/PNG/WebP/GIF, MP4 or MOV |
| "Image too large (… MB). Max 30 MB." | The image exceeds the image cap | Compress or resize it |
| A video over 100 MB is rejected | The video cap is 100 MB | Compress or trim the video |
| The error message quotes a different maximum than the one that applied | A known wording defect in the size-limit message | Trust the table above; report the mismatch to your AdWing administrator |
| A duplicate warning appears | The same file is already in your library | Use the existing creative, or rename/alter the file if you genuinely need a second copy |
| Upload stops partway | A network issue interrupted it | Retry; if it keeps failing, contact your AdWing administrator |
